News & Announcements
March 24, 2024
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We have made it to the last few days before our Easter break!
Last week we had an assembly on an afterschool program we will be implementing. The Athletic Association has coordinated with one of our parents, Mr. Gosha, who works with the NJ Devils and their floor hockey program. The students had a fun time learning about the program. A flyer for sign-ups will be coming after the Easter break. Additionally, our vocal ensemble gave a fabulous performance, and I would like to thank Mrs. Calicchio for all she does to make these activities possible.
On Thursday, March 21st our kindergarten implemented their annual cereal box challenge in the AAC. A total of 1,473 boxes were collected thanks to your generosity. This year’s winners to collecting the most cereal goes to kindergarten, who donated 530 boxes! They will receive a dress down day for their efforts. Thank you to those that contributed.
On Friday, March 22nd our 4th -8th grade students had their Career Day. What a wonderful morning visiting different speakers, who presented their careers and their backgrounds into how they chose their professions. Thank you to all those parents who participated. I truly appreciate you taking time from your busy schedules to assist us in this day.
This week, although a short one, will be busy! On Monday our kindergarten students will have their Easter Egg Hunt with their 8th grade buddies. This is always a fun event they look forward to. Finally, on Wednesday, March 27th some of our 7th grade students will be performing Live Stations of the Cross at 10:15AM in the church. The students have been working hard to perform this activity and I thank Mrs. Wyrovsky for working with the students to bring back this event. Please feel free to join us if you are able to attend.
As a reminder, Wednesday is a half day with a 12:30PM dismissal and will begin our Easter break. I wish you all a wonderful Easter with your family and friends. For those of you who may be traveling I wish you a safe journey and look forward to welcoming everyone back on Monday, April 8th to finish the 2023/2024 school year.
God Bless!
